Harper Walton's second poetry collection The Ballad of a Bloodless Hangnail, published by NYC-based new words {press}, is "delicious, exciting, sexy" (Rhian Elizabeth). It explores a year in the life of a twentysomething queer person prone to yearning and overthinking. From a not-so successful slut era to new love to breakup to hyperfixation, it investigates desire and identity through humour and vivid imagery.
